Contact The Artist About This Artwork
Shane Hooper is a young singer songwriter who performed at the 2026 20th Edition of the Hudson Music Festival in Hudson, Quebec this summer. His stage name is Hooper, he is living in Montreal but originally from Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, and his music is lovely. Perhaps you would enjoy checking out his melodies on Instagram or Facebook.
Because I was the official Visual Artist of the Festival this year, I was able to get some photos of some of the performers. I like to create a few images related to the Music Festival before I go back to my other work.
Medium is sanguine conte, charcoal and white chalk, on Canson Mi-Teintes Blue paper. A traditional style of drawing dating back to the Renaissance period, 14th to 17th centuries.
